This is the compression spring located at the end of most handbrake cables. It performs an important function in allowing the handbrake crank arm to return to the rest setting after the brake is released.
If you bike is missing this item, or it is worn or fatigued your brakes will not disengage properly causing advanced brake wear and poor performance. We recommend you replace this item when required or when installing a new cable.
Suits most ATC models with cable operated brakes.
