Recoil “D” Washer, suits most ATCs
This is the “D” washer that goes under the circlip to hold the friction plate down on ATC pull starters.
Does an important job in allowing the friction plate to correctly throw the starter pawls.
Replace this with a standard washer and you are just looking for trouble.
